Day 2 Beijing | Forbidden City & Royal Historic Sites
In the morning: Visit the
Palace Museum (Forbidden City) — the essence of ancient royal architecture.
In the afternoon: Head to
Jingshan Park to overlook the panoramic view of the Forbidden City, then visit
Beihai Park.
In the evening: Stroll along

Day 3 Beijing | Great Wall & City Landmarks
Full day trip to
Mutianyu Great Wall (cable car available for easy visit, less crowded with stunning scenery).
Return to downtown in the late afternoon.
In the evening: Visit
Temple of Heaven or enjoy the night view of
Bird’s Nest & Water Cube Olympic Park.
Day 4 Beijing → Xi'an | Ancient Capital Transition
Take high-speed train from Beijing to Xi’an in the morning.
Arrive at Xi’an North Railway Station, check into hotel near Bell Tower / Muslim Street.
Taste local Xi’an food for lunch: Roujiamo, Liangpi and Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup.
In the afternoon: Walk and cycle on
Xi’an City Wall (Yongning Gate).
In the evening: Enjoy the night scenery of
Bell Tower & Drum Tower, and taste food at
Muslim Street.
Day 5 Xi'an | Terracotta Army & Tang Culture
In the morning: Visit the world-famous
Terracotta Army Museum.
In the afternoon: Tour

Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.
In the evening: Wander

Day 6 Xi'an → Shanghai | From Ancient Capital to Modern Metropolis
Take high-speed train from Xi’an to Shanghai in the morning.
Arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao, check into hotel near People’s Square / Nanjing Road.

Yu Garden and
City God Temple, taste famous Nanxiang Soup Dumplings.

Day 7 Shanghai | City Highlights & Airport Drop-off
